小隐隐于野，中隐隐于市，大隐隐于朝是中国道家哲学思想。
“大道无形”，“大隐隐于朝”，中国人很早就洞察了人心的奥秘。最深刻的道理往往随处可见，一切统治者的最高境界就是令对手有形而使自己无形，如此方能做到永远立于不败之地。
隐士的三种精神境界
一、看破人生的人才往往想过隐居的生活。与世无争，所以有人解甲归田。这是小隐。
二、隐居在喧闹的市井中，视他人与嘈杂于不闻不见，从而求得心境的宁静，这是中隐。
三、在朝为官，面对尘世的污浊、倾轧，勾心斗角却能保持清净幽远的心境，不与世争，不与世浊，悠然自得的生活，这才是归隐的最高境界，这样的人才是真正的隐士，所以谓之“大隐”。朝，指朝廷，这里引申为做官。
归根到底，什么叫“伟大的人”？回归最简单最质朴最人本的境界，当你是个“人”的时候，你就大写了。
没有无缘无故的爱，也没有无缘无故的恨。
